Working with families for 50 years, we've observed and experienced the positive impact of memorialization on the healing process. Our business is driven by one emotion—love. It's something we can all use a little more of, particularly in times of sorrow. We express that love in our work to the families we serve, and through our involvement with the community.

One such expression is the Lost Hearts Foundation, an organization established by Maria Milano's children in her memory. The purpose is to financially assist young people who have lost parents.

Cornerstone of Hope is a comprehensive grief center offering both individual counseling and group support in a home-like environment. When the unthinkable happens, Cornerstone of Hope is always there with understanding, help and support. They also offer educational programs and trainings to professionals and volunteers.

Milano Monuments has been a long standing contributing member of Monument Builders of North America. The MBNA is the voice of memorialists in North America and around the world, assuring  ethical and honest business practices from members committed to the industry and monument design.

Certified Memorialist: A Certified Memorialist (CM) designation is the highest honor of professional achievement available in the memorial industry. This MBNA Certification Program raises the professional standards to those engaged in the memorialization industry and awards the top level of competence and ethical conduct. Certification is awarded to individuals with exceptional character, ability and reputation. CMs are recertified every three years with requirements to continue their involvement in the profession and education.

Lifebanc is a nonprofit organ and tissue recovery organization that serves Ohio’s Northeast region of the state. Hundreds of thousands of Ohioans are alive today because of Lifebanc. Lifebanc works closely with local partners such as Milano Monuments to educate the public and healthcare professionals about the benefits of and need for donations as well as to provide bereavement support and services to families.

The Cleveland Police Foundation is an alliance of business and civic leaders, organizations and individuals committed to the idea that an educated, well-trained and modernly equipped police department leads to a safer community for all. Its mission is to strengthen the bond between the Cleveland Division of Police and the citizens it serves by providing funding for youth and community outreach programs, police charities, investment in advanced education and training, and funding for specialized equipment and technology in order to help our police officers better perform their duties. It also provides support to families and colleagues of officers who die in the line of duty.

The NOIA is a group of people who are proud and passionate about their Italian heritage and want to share that passion with others. Members of NOIA get involved in many educational and philanthropic activities including foundation funding that gives back to the community. They work with business and political leaders to strengthen cultural and economic ties.

Milano Monuments partners with WKYC and Fox8 television stations to donate our services to promote important causes in Northeast Ohio such as Lifebanc.

Founded in 1885 in Vermont, Rock of Ages owns and manages quarries in several states and countries. These quarries produce the highest combined volume of dimensional granite in North America. Milano Monuments is honored to be one of a select few retailers in North America to be designated as a Rock of Ages retailer.
