Formally known as Highland Cemetery, Elmwood Cemetery is located on the north side of North Ridge Road West, 1/2 mile west of Broadway, Lorain, Ohio. Elmwood Cemetery's purpose is to provide a public cemetery with affordable rates for the citizens of Lorain and provide a proper burial for people who are indigent. Together we have helped families plan and carry out dignified tributes to their loved ones. Elmwood Cemetery offers a choice of burial options, including graves permitting above ground grave markers or headstones and upright monuments.
